The valve limit switch box is a field instrument used to detect valve status in automatic control systems. It outputs the open or closed position of the valve as a switching signal, which can be received by remote controllers or computers to determine subsequent actions. This product also serves as important valve interlock protection and provides remote alarm indication in automatic control systems.

Limit Switch Box Operation
The output shaft from the pneumatic actuator rotates 90°, turning the input shaft of the monitor and moving the visual indicator from closed to open (or reverse to close). Limit switches provide a dry contact output signal in both open and closed positions for remote valve position confirmation.
The APL 210 Position Monitoring Switchbox is a rotary type position indicator designed to integrate valves and pneumatic actuators with various internal switches or sensors. Suitable for small pneumatic actuators, this IP67-rated aluminum switchbox features 2 x V3 SPDT limit switches, beacon indicator, and stainless steel Namur bracket, offering mechanical switching with 100,000 cycle operating life.
